What to do if you miss class when a quiz is given
Consult the policy for your own section’s instructor. Typically, a certain number of the lowest quiz scores—including scores of 0 because you did not take the quiz—are dropped when calculating your overall quiz score.
What to do if you have a conflict with a mid-semester exam
In the event of conflict with a regularly scheduled class or an officially scheduled evening exam in another class, or other officially recognized reason, you will be able to take a make-up exam the evening before the date of the scheduled exam. You must, however, contact the Math 127 Course Chair, Prof. Rudvalis, ahead of time to make arrangements.
