Exams and Review sessions - Dates, Time, and Place

• First Midterm:  Tuesday, March 1, 7:00 to 9:00PM, Room: Goessmann 64 (Markman's section 5, other sections: see your instructor's web page for your exam room).
  
  • You may bring an 8.5x11" page (both sides) of notes.
  • Calculators are not allowed
  • Material for the exam: Up to section 3.2, including.

• Final Exam:  Friday May 6, 2011, 4:00 to 6:00 PM,   Goessmann Laboratory room 20 (Only for section 5 taught by Eyal Markman!!!)

  • Material for the final exam: The final is cumulative. At least 70% will be based on Chapter 6 sections 6.1 to 6.3, Chapter 7 sections 7.1 to 7.5, and Chapter 5 sections 5.1 to 5.3.
  • Practice Exams and solutions We recommend the Fall 2010 practice final (which covers section 7.5, but not Chapter 5) and the Spring 2008 final (which covers sections 5.1 and 5.2, but not 5.3 and 7.5). Solutions to both exams are posted in this link. For section 5.3, as well as all other sections, we recommend to review the suggested homework problems. See also Problem 5 in the Fall 2000 final (in relation to section 5.3).
