I am a visiting assistant professor in mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previously, I was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas and a graduate student at the University of Virginia. My research is on homotopy theory and algebraic K-theory. I am also interested in fields that interface with these, including category theory, algebraic topology, knot theory, and algebraic number theory. Take a look at my 10 minute video summarizing some of my recent research and its connections to the Riemann Hypothesis, available here. I have been involved with the USA Math Olympiad and International Math Olympiad for years, currently serving on the USA Math Olympiad Editorial Board. I have worked at times with local middle and high school math clubs and trained the UVA Putnam team. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, reading, and playing piano. |
