Information for the Final exam
Final: Wed, May 19 at 8AM in LGRT 321
Review for final: Monday, May 17 4-6pm in LGRT 1634
The final will be cumulative.
- Material up to Midterm 2: at most 30%.
- Material after Midterm 2: at least 70%
The following material was covered after Midterm 2:
- Chapter 4: (vector spaces) Sections 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.9
- Chapter 5: (Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors) Sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3
- Chapter 6: (Orthogonality and least squares): Sections 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.5, 6.6
Calculators will not be allowed.
You may bring one page of notes and formulas for the exam (both sides).
