Welcome to Robin Koytcheff's home page!

I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Math Department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. From 2015 to 2017, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Univeristy of Massachusetts Amherst, where this webpage is currently based. Stay tuned for updates regarding its location.

You may also remember me from the University of Victoria (in Victoria, BC, Canada, where I was a postdoc from 2013 to 2015), Brown University (in Providence, RI, where I was a postdoc from 2010 to 2013) and Stanford University (in Stanford, CA, where I completed my PhD in 2010). My research lies in the area of topology. Non-experts may enjoy this article that I wrote to introduce knot theory (including concepts related to my research) to high school students.

My office hours for Fall 2017 are Mondays 1-2 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11 am in in my office, MDD 440. Office hours by appointment are also possible.
