I have retired effective Aug. 6, 2013 but still involved in some
research and consulting. I can be reached at my regular departmental email
address or via gmail (johnbuonaccorsi@gmail.com).
RESEARCH
My main research area is Statistics, ranging from theory to applications
with the latter primarily in ecological and biostatistical applications.
My current work is focused primarily on
measurement error in time series and longitudinal data, with particular
interest in population dynamics, and methods associated with misclassification (in
in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Oslo Medical School).
Other areas of continuing interest include estimating distributions in the presence
of measurement error, estimation in two-stage models (including
random coefficients and meta-analysis and regression/synchrony in spatial-temporal
settings.
