## Math 235.6 : Introduction to Linear Algebra

**Office Hours**: Tuesdays 2:00PM--3:00PM and Thursdays 3:00PM--4:00PM, in my office LGRT 1235H.

**Classes**: TuTh 11:30PM--12:45PM in Goessmann Lab, Addition Room 51.

**Homeworks**
Homeworks will be assigned through MyMathLab. I will provide a course ID number so that you can purchase access (including an electronic copy of the textbook)
for $75.

Homeworks are due on Tuesdays and Thursdays (first homework due 9/13/16).

**Exams**
There will be two midterm exams and a final exam. Past exams are available here.

You are allowed one 8.5" x 11" sheet of notes (both sides).
Calculators and the textbook are *not* allowed on the exams.
You should bring your student ID (UCard) to each exam.

**First midterm exam**
The first midterm will be held on Tuesday 10/18/16, 7:00PM--9:00PM, in HASA0126.

The syllabus for the first midterm is the following sections of the textbook: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.

There will be a review session for the first midterm on Monday 10/17/16, 7:00PM--8:30PM, in LGRT 121.

**Second midterm exam**
The second midterm will be held on Tuesday 11/15/16, 7:00PM--9:00PM, in HASA0126.

The syllabus for the second midterm is the following sections of the textbook: 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5.

There will be a review session for the second midterm on Monday 11/14/16, 7:00PM--8:30PM, in LGRT 121.

**Final Exam**
The final exam will be held on Tuesday 12/20/16, 10:30AM-12:30PM, in Boyden gym.

The syllabus for the final exam is the following sections of the textbook: 4.5, 4.6, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 6.1, 6.2.
